FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything couples and event planners usually ask before booking a wedding singer in Manchester — from how far ahead to book to what Olivia needs from your venue.

Booking

How far ahead to book, how to secure your date and the kinds of events Olivia sings at.

Check your date as early as you can.

I can hold your date for up to two weeks while you decide. Once you’re happy with the quote, your booking is confirmed when I’ve received your completed booking form and deposit. The remaining balance is due one week before your wedding.

Yes, I can sing at corporate evenings and private parties such as birthdays and anniversaries. The music is shaped around the room, from relaxed background jazz to uplifting pop favourites. See the Events page for more.

Music

Choosing your songs, the styles Olivia sings and performing as a duo.

Yes. You choose your aisle walk, the songs while you sign the register and your exit song — or build a shortlist from the repertoire and Olivia will shape the rest around it. New requests can usually be learned with enough notice.

Jazz, soul, pop and musical theatre — from Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald to Amy Winehouse, Kylie and the big show tunes, plus Christmas favourites for the festive season.

Of course. Press play on the recordings on the home page — the music keeps playing while you browse — or watch full live performances, solo and with the duo, on the Watch page.

Yes. Serendipity Acoustic Duo pairs Olivia with Danny on acoustic guitar for a fuller sound, and Olivia is also available with a pianist for a more intimate, romantic sound. See the Duo page for details.

On the day

Set-up, sound and what Olivia needs from your venue.

Yes, I have my own PA system.

Around 30–45 minutes, ideally before your guests arrive, so everything is ready and sound-checked quietly. If the ceremony and drinks reception are in different rooms, the move is planned with your venue in advance.

A power socket near the performance area and a small space to set up. Olivia liaises with your venue coordinator before the day so you don't have to.

Yes, as long as there's power and a covered spot for the equipment. It's worth agreeing an indoor plan B with your venue, just in case.

Yes — public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment, with certificates sent to your venue on request.

Fees & travel

How quotes work and how far Olivia travels.

Olivia is based in Manchester and performs across the North West and the rest of the UK. Travel may be added for venues further afield — it's always included in your quote up front.

It depends on the date, the venue and which parts of the day you'd like live music for. You'll find starting prices for each wedding package on the Weddings page — send your date and venue for a tailored quote.
